About Dr. Burns Dr. Bruce Burns graduated from Ursinus College in 1966 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. He then served four years in the US Army Security Agency (ASA) in Europe. After his military service he attended Temple University and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1974. He continues to sharpen his skills by taking postgraduate courses to learn new and improved techniques and to keep current on changes in the dental field. In 1983, Dr. Burns was awarded a Fellowship in the prestigious Academy of General Dentistry. Born and raised in the Royersford area, Dr. Burns is the son of the late Dr. J.E.P. Burns, M.D., whose medical practice occupied the same location as the dental office for 54 years. Dr. Burns is married to the former Norma Jean Edgar, also of Royersford. He and his wife have two daughters, Jennifer and Emily, and four grandchildren, Evan, Lauren, Alex and Tyler. |
